Social Inferences Fun Deck®
Luis didn’t have many friends. Sara watched as Luis took his lunch tray over to an empty table. Sara thought to herself, “Luis
is very quiet, but he is always willing to lend someone a pencil or piece of paper. I wish more people were nice to Luis.” Sara decided to go talk to Luis. She went over to his table and sat next to him. “Hey Luis,” she said. “May I eat my lunch here today?”
“Uh-yeah, sure. That would be great,” Luis replied.
Describe Sara
A She is shy. She doesn’t like to eat with others at lunch.
B She is popular. Everyone wants to eat with Sara at lunchtime. C She is kind. She notices others and considers how they feel.

Social Skills for Today’s World Game
  Very easy to use
I love that each card comes with a picture
of the scenario. We all know that part
of social inferencing is using the eyes to
gather information and these cards allow the child to use their eyes as well as their ears and brains to make the inference. And being able to check their answer is just an added bonus.
